Yes Paintings Series II

Series II of my Yes Paintings expands on themes explored in Series I. In SI, the main truth expressed is that Life, Society, God, and Others present us with a Question. The Question cannot be expressed in words alone, and part of the Question expressed to all of us is the daily suffering of living with inflammatory bowel disease. The only reasonable Answer to this Question is Yes.

In SII, the ramifications of these ideas are more clearly articulated. The Here and Now, the realm in which IBD resides, is contrasted with the Higher Things in life. Naturally, my goal with these paintings is to show everybody that looking beyond our pain is more important than living in the trenches.

Leave your thoughts below. Should you want to purchase any of these paintings contact me. Prices range from $45-$99.
