It’s been awhile since we’ve uploaded a new translated video, so for all our German fans, here’s the two-part video, “Changing an Ostomy Appliance.” These translated videos actually take a long time, so if anybody is interested in helping me translate more videos, just send me a message at: Dennis@UCVlog.com.
The Translation Project continues on, and with a new year comes a new language–German! This first video, I know, has been translated before and all my English viewers have probably seen it. But now those in the German speaking world will get a sense for what this site is all about.
Again, if you’d like to help me with this project in any way, please contact me.
After translating the video describing my first surgery, why not my second surgery as well? This is the third video translated into Catalan, a language from Spain.
Again, if there’s anybody who wants to assist in this Translation Project please let me know. It doesn’t matter what language you know as long as you know it competently!
Hey everybody, the translation project is continuing and I have a new video with Catalan subtitles: the video describing my first surgery. More Catalan videos to come. If you know anybody in Spain who might benefit from these videos, please let them know! I know Catalan is not the most popular language in the world but the people who speak it still get ulcerative colitis.
Hey everybody, I’ve got a new video here for the Translation Project, the two-part video on how to change an ostomy appliance. This video is my second most popular so it’s great that the Spanish-speaking world can now understand it.
Thanks once again to Martin for translating this video.
If you want to get involved with the project, send me an email telling me which languages you are proficient in and we’ll go from there. Upcoming are more videos translated into Catalan, and hopefully German as well.
Add a third language to the Translation Project: Catalan. Being the ignorant American I sometimes am, I had never heard of this language until approached by a speaker of it from Spain. That’s where the language is primarily spoken by a smallish number of people. But they get ulcerative colitis too.
The first video we’ve translated into Catalan was chosen mostly for its short length. More videos in this language will come in the future.
This might be the last Spanish-subtitled video about my journey with ulcerative colitis for awhile, the long-awaited third surgery. Next will come more subtitled videos about managing an ileostomy and J-pouch.
Another video with Spanish subtitles, this one about what was involved with my second surgery. These Spanish videos are really starting to get popular so if anybody wants to help me transcribe my English videos that would help a lot in getting an accurate translation in another language. Even if you can only help me transcribe one video that would be an immense help, I really mean it.
