This video covers physical pain and limitations following surgery, and my recovery as well as the emotional turmoil it caused. Often times physical pain of surgery and the body transformation is easier to deal with than the emotional. However, in a situation such as what I went through, there was no other alternative than to accept and deal with the hand that I was dealt. You don’t have to like it, but you do have to live with it. There are so many ways to cope. Each of us has to find the best fit for ourselves. If you’ve had issues dealing with physical and emotional feelings regarding your surgery or illness, feel free to email me at Nadia@UCVlog.com or post a comment!

Another great video from Nadia. This semester, her first year in school, has been very rough with hospitals stays and missed school. So she’s decided to try college again next fall. Only having a partial portion of what you want, as she says, can be very frustrating and difficult to accept but so life goes with IBD.
