God bless you! I had my colon removed last December and have been talking with the surgeon about a j-pouch but am very hesitant due to the complications. I’m thinking on just keeping the ostomy. Given your experience, would you have a j-pouch done or not if you had it to do over again.

  Even though it’s not perfect, I’d have the surgery done again. That being said, if I have to go back to the ostomy, that’s fine too. Both options have their pluses and minuses.
