I have Crohn’s colitis which means they couldnt definitively say one way or another. I still have some ulcers in my upper GI and small intestine. Unfortunately my J-Pouch is also full of ulcers, so the disease is spreading. It would have been nice if they would have removed my colon and all my disease would have gone with it.. I wasn’t so lucky. Everybody is different, some are worse than others, some are better, and no matter what, it sucks either way… Take good care, thanks for the question.

If you have your crohn’s colitis and you have an ostomy that means you no longer have a colon, which means you no longer have crohn’s and so are no longer sick? Or has it spread?

Yes, it has struck me at odd times about what this illness has done to me. Before I was sick I was an adventurous and outgoing. Now I live like a shut-in cut off from doing anything.
