I am defined by ulcerative colitis
October 7, 2009There, I said it. Many people don’t want to be defined by their diseases, but I think what people mean is that they don’t want to be judged because of their diseases. That I agree with. Definition, though: it’s much harder to avoid, especially when these diseases radically take hold of our lives and change who we are.
