Hi Dennis,

Firstly I'd just like to say that you and Nadia are really cool and what you are doing here is really great. I am meeting the surgeon tomorrow here in London to discuss surgery after just over three years of chronically active UC. Even though I have never been in hospital with this disease I have to say that it has been somewhat of a nightmare and has slowly but surely been affecting every part of my life. I have tried pretty much everything and the only drug that has anything like a satisfactory response is prednisone which as we know is not a permanent fix.

So anyway I am hoping to have surgery, and yes I have some serious doubts, but compared to the certainty of my current state (I know for a fact my colon is diseased and is not going to get better) I think and hope I am making the right choice.

Thanks again for the help you guys are giving to so many people. I have given your website to my docs here to pass on to other patients as personally I have found this site more helpful than everything else online put together.

Take care,

Blair.

Hi Dennis, Thank you once again for posting an inspirational video, I felt like you made this one especially for me. I have told you before that I am terrified of the outcome of my j-pouch surgery (first surgery next week, June 23rd), I am not well, but I am not a train wreck either, so voluntarily undergoing this surgery and going through hell for a while is overwhelming for me. And then to go through the takedown and hope that all will be well with that too! What a long road ahead without a written guarantee! You seem to be doing so well, I am so happy for that and I am also more grateful than you know for all your many videos that you have placed on here. Thank you Dennis :)

Sincerely,
