Something you never think about before having an ileostomy installed is that the shape and size of it changes over time. In as little as three months it looks fairly different than when it was first installed. Today’s video shows what mine is like.
And then there’s only 2 videos left before my next surgery! One on Friday, one on Monday. Hopefully I can keep posting videos while I’m in the hospital and recovering: I have a couple dozen made just chillin in the wings. Seriously! But I won’t promise you any kind of schedule.
Lots of people have been asking me about my next surgery and that’s very encouraging. I’m as excited as everybody else to see how this whole ordeal turns out.
I’m also working on a couple projects on this site that I’ll premiere after all my surgeries are finished and my recovery is underway. Maybe one in January 2009 and then the other in February. It’s a long wait, I know, but it’ll be worth it.
