My second flare-up
October 5, 2008This video describes my second major flare up with ulcerative colitis. It was much worse than the first time, quite unbelievable how bad it got.

I had the same exact experience when I was 15, I’m now 22. I was in the hospital for 2 months and I had the t.p.n. I had my tube through my chest because the doctors collapsed my veins, trying to feed it the way you described. The doctor also was talking about having surgery but the prednisone kicked in last minute and saved my intestine. I still have my large intestine and am currently having a flare up after having one 2 months ago and being in the e.r. 6 times in 2 months lol, they knew me by heart by then. Anyway I am so happy that you and Nadia are coming out and helping people. It’s so inspiring to let people know not to be afraid of talking about i.b.d, thank you so much and keep up the fantastic work. one more thing, do you take donations?
